Before you transfer

• Make sure the domain is unlocked.

• Get the EPP/Auth code from your current registrar.

• Confirm the registrant email can receive messages.

• Check you are not within a transfer lock period.

During transfer

• Enter the domain + EPP code at checkout.

• Approve transfer emails if required.

Most transfers take hours to days. The exact timing depends on the TLD.

Avoid downtime

Keep current nameservers until you confirm DNS is correct at the new registrar.
